Description de la chambre

Hello ! We are Jeremy and Olga (average age 25.5), a couple of students living together with Souba the cat (age 4).

Currently living in a spacious apartment near the boulevards of Bordeaux, we are looking for two active young people to share the extra bedrooms recently vacated by our previous roommates. The room will be available from March first.

> About the p(a)lace : The flat is made of three bedrooms, a restroom, a bathroom (bath with shower), a large living room communicating with the kitchen, and a big terrace (richly decorated with plants) which is open towards the communal garden of a retirement home (very calm).
- Situated one floor upstairs, the bedrooms are facing a slightly busy street which gets mostly silent at night. Regarding neighbors, there are only 2 other flats in the complex.

> Regarding the surroundings, the bus G going straight to the train station and the bus 9 traveling on the boulevards are both 1 minute walking from the door. There are an Aldi and Carrefour Market 5 minutes away, and an Intermarché and a Biocoop 10 minutes away from home (walking).
- There is no closed parking available nor garage for bikes (but bars to attach them outside). There is a station to rent the "Le Vélo" bikes for 30 minutes right by the house (we use it everyday).

> What we have in the house : the essentials like a huge fridge, an oven and a washing machine. But also an air fryer, a dishwasher, a cat food dispenser, a home-made barbecue, music instruments (drumset, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass and much more), sports instruments (dumbbels, weight bars, a dip and pull up station, yoga mats and much more) and all the building tools you would need to construct a house (at least maybe most of them).
- The bedrooms are fully equipped with beds, wardrobes and tables.
One important note : we do not have WiFi, and only rely on phone data. As for the electricity plan, we have put 40€ for charges but this greatly varies with the season and if people use the heating (40 is an overestimation).

About the people : For now only 3 beings live there - Olga, Jeremy and Souba. We are looking for two extra roomates (one of them could be you !).

About us :
- Olga : I finished my neuroscience Masters in Bordeaux this year, and I am currently looking for opportunities to join a research laboratory working on understanding what is happening in our brain (in general), from a computational point of view. Aside from learning and working, I enjoy doing sports and crafting stuff, as well as discovering french food and culture. I go to the gym every day. I speak english and russian, and am learning french.
- Jeremy : I finished my PhD in neuroscience two years ago, and am currently in my 5th year of medical studies. I would like to specialize in psychiatry and work both in an hospital and in a research laboratory. Outside of my student life, I enjoy doing martial arts and playing music, as well as gardening. I go to the gym every day. I speak french and english, and am learning japanese and russian.
- Souba : I am a cat. I enjoy meowing, waiting for food, exploring the wilderness (terrace), eating food, sleeping and regretting finishing my bowl of food. I sometimes bite and scratch. I do not go to the gym. I speak cat language, english and a bit of italian.
Overall, we are pretty active people who enjoy doing stuff all the time.

During the week, we will either be home studying, at uni or at the laboratory/hospital working. We usually do some housework and study on the weekend, or if the stars align go out to visit bars and festivals in town. Since we enjoy partying, we also sometimes invite people over to have some drinks and make food, which often ends up playing music altogether and chilling on the terrace.

Overall, we are looking for someone who can speak english fluently and would enjoy sharing the student lifestyle and maybe some activities. We really appreciate the housemate experience and it's for us an amazing chance to meet nice people (we are nice) and make everyday life richer and funnier. Note that the house has been a student house for some years, so it accumulated a lot of furniture and decoration but, do not worry, hygiene and tidiness are tightly kept by us.
Please to facilitate exchange, send us a text message on the french number +33 6 34 65 41 32 (Jeremy). Please do not call directly, nor contact us through the website. To specify : For money and conviviality purposes, we are looking for people moving in as soon as possible !
On the practical aspects : it would be possible for you to get on the renting contract if you stay long enough, we are in good terms with the landlord and agency but it can still take some time. If you contact us we can discuss practical aspects !

The rooms have a double bed, a table, a window, and a wardrobe.
