Chambre en colocation à Paris 15

Bonjour, possible future housemate!

I am subletting a small room in my apartment from 4th April to the end of June (three months) – although it might be possible to extend!

The apartment is ~48sqm on the 5th floor of a Haussmannian building (there is an elevator), on a quiet street with sun on both sides. It’s fully furnished, with a beautiful sunny living room, a balcony, and a modern kitchen (with a dishwasher!). There’s a cave in the basement to store whatever you want, and a shed for your bike in the courtyard. It’s just around the corner from the Boucicaut metro stop (line 8) and every shop/supermarket you could possibly want is within walking distance.

The room is pretty small (~8 sqm) – it’s a single bed, but the wardrobe is big and there’s another single bed that pulls out from underneath if you want to have an overnight guest ;) I promise there would be absolutely no obligation to stay in your room all the time like a hermit crab (the rest of the apartment is quite lovely and spacious).

I am a 28-year-old New Zealander, who moved to Paris for work (I work full time doing urban planning and climate change policy). I like a reasonably chill home environment but am always keen to cook together, play a boardgame, watch a movie etc. I love cooking (and hosting dinner parties), live music (mostly jazz and funk), yoga (although I have quite poor balance), sewing my own clothes, and am pretty good at keeping house plants alive too. I like having friends over but I am not a party animal. I don’t speak French.

Rent is €800/month + internet €12.5 + insurance €9 + electricity (heating + hot water) ~€50
You’d be subletting the room from me, with the landlord's permission.
The apartment is fully furnished, so your room would come with sheets, blankets, towels etc. if you want to use them! Otherwise we can put all that stuff in the cave.
